Periods 1,4, and 5: you will create a Mayan Pyramid! It’s easy and fun. Please do not just do a good job but a spectacularjob. You will take the paper copy left on counter and cut where it says to, and fold where it says to. Use my scissors near Lord Vader and please return them when finished. Decorate your Pyramid nicely and look at the examples in the room. Make sure you decorate your pyramid first before glueing it or taping it together. Put your name somewhere on the back side. Put them in the bucket when done. You will work on this for two days. If you finish early, take the Mayan worksheet “thinking like a mayan” and finish that as well.
Period 4 and anyone else who has NOT taken the Active Engagement quiz needs to take the Active Engagement quiz first before making a pyramid by clicking HERE. (Period 4 students can use their notes on Active Engagement quiz.)
